Thanks to efficiency improvements in technology and capacity, our Express Tier—previously closed due to enormity of submissions and resulting backlog that is now resolved—is officially reopening, and at a lower price point.

In effort to make the TAG Score more accessible to all collectors, this tier is now available at just $60 per card instead of $75.

Collectors can once again unlock the 1,000-point TAG Score with an estimated 15 day turnaround time and up to $1,000 of insurance per card. Focused on DINGS, the new Express tier delivers clear, concise insights—perfect for collectors who want the essentials without the sub-score breakdowns. 

In recognition of the launch of TAG's new Express service, and in appreciation of collectors of TAG Score, the first 10,000 cards submitted via TAG Express and received to TAG's facility on or  before August 13th (next Wednesday)  will be completed in a  expedited 5 - 10 business day turnaround time.

On all submissions moving forward, TAG Pristine grades (Score of 990+) will  automatically upgrade (Free)  to include the 1000-point TAG Score, regardless of which tier they were submitted under. This means all TAG Pristines will be Ranked by Score instead of Grade, and have the Score visible in the QR code. 

Previously only accessible via an optional premium, all TAG Grading services now include complimentary insurance  (amount varies per tier).

*if a customer would like to be covered for an estimated value in excess of $5,000, it is required a customer purchase additional insurance from TAG.

What was once a premium add-on is now standard: every TAG-graded card now receives  complimentary Card Care cleaning (microfiber wipedown) and deionization.  Thanks to increased scalability of our process, we’re proud to make this elevated treatment part of every submission—automatically and at no added cost. Every card will also include a  complimentary  fitted slab sleeve.

Prefer the thrill of a surprise or a clean reveal? You now have the choice. TAG’s signature Mystery Foil Wrap is  now optional (free)  with every order—simply select your preference at checkout when submitting your cards for grading. Orders which do not select mystery foil wrap will be shipped in protective slab sleeves. Orders which elect for foil wrap will get the protective slab sleeves packaged seperately.

We’ve adjusted the Value Tier to make it more accessible overall: the minimum quantity required to submit is now reduced to  10 cards instead of 20 , bringing the Value entry point from  $300 down to $200 . While the per-card price has increased from $15 to $20 , every submission now includes more built-in value—from insurance to card care—at every tier.

These updates are designed to make TAG’s technology, transparency, and experience more accessible—while continuing to raise the bar for what grading should be.

We’re proud to share that our backlog is fully resolved and estimated turnaround times are now back on track. Over the past several months, our team worked around the clock—running three shifts a day, expanding our staff, and optimizing every part of our process. As a result, TAG has unlocked significantly more scalability and is now operating at a whole new level of efficiency.

Big things are in the works at TAG. While we can’t reveal everything just yet, here’s a glimpse at what’s coming soon:

Chinese Pokémon support will be ready shortly, Yu-Gi-Oh! slabs are targeted for end of year, and our long-awaited TAG Market + Vault platform is gearing up for launch by September. An Authorized Dealer locator map (US and International) as well as a TAG Pristine slab refresh (keeping in the TAG ethos of having the focus on the card) are also on their way.
